Youth Service recognizes the importance of empowering youth and young professionals through leadership development programs such as , , , and .

Primary School Speech Contest

This event sponsored by the club, is usually held at one of the participating schools premises. The idea is to encourage primary school children in Grades 5 and 6 to prepare and deliver a short speech from a selection of five topics, thus providing them with the experience of speech preparation and public speaking in a safe forum.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

The program covers fundamentals and ethics of: – positive leadership – communication skills – problem-solving and conflict management – Rotary’s purpose and service to the community – building self confidence and self-esteem and – elements of community and global citizenship.

Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN)

This program is one of personal development to communicate to students aged between 14 and 17 years of age a series of ideas, problems and social experiences over a three day seminar designed to assist the young participants to form their own values and moral standards.

Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA)

The purpose of MUNA is to encourage young people to learn about other nations and to understand and appreciate the workings of the United Nations while they develop debating skills and gain self confidence in public speaking.
