Ah, the Good Ole Days!
John Mudgway shares his special collection of Rotary ties with us, just to remind us of the "good ole days":
Once upon a time, men wore bits of rag around their necks.
They were called neckties. Or just ties.
Nobody really knew what their function was.
Some reckoned it was to wipe spilled food off your shirt.
Rotary men wore ties too, with an annual model change. (shades of General Motors under the guidance of Alfred P. Sloan, Jr.)
Here are some images of said ties, just to remind us Rotary Club of Templestowe blokes of the “good old days”.
