Recent spotlight on our community initiatives

Two of our new community initiatives, Connecting Manningham and the Rotary Australia Day Community Lunch, were recently featured in a multi-district Rotary Convention. Here are the videos:

President's Message: May 2021

A Melbourne Autumn is really something to behold, and I hope you have had the opportunity to enjoy this! We’re off to a quick start in May.  Our Doncaster Hill Market was held on Sunday May 2 and it was the cover story featured on the newly launched Manningham Life community magazine. The magazine was distributed to 20,000 households in Manningham, and this helped to draw quite a number of new visitors to the market. If you would like to read the cover story on the market, you can view the online version here.

Connect with 130,000 Manningham residents!

Our new Manningham Community Directory is now live and ready for business! This is the next phase of our Connecting Manningham initiative, and the aim is to connect local residents to local businesses and organisations. It's a free service for locals - just go to and click on "Add listing".

President's Message: April 2021

Greetings friends and colleagues, I trust you enjoyed the recent long Easter weekend - I'm all refreshed for a busy April ahead! Our first April gathering last Wednesday was a different take on our regular "Member Behind the Badge" evening.  It was a special night with several of us sharing our musical talents. Andrew McFarland and myself entertained with several songs by the Beatles and Neil Diamond, and the audience jumped in with some enthusiastic singing!
