We conducted our first trial video meeting last week - 15 people turned up, some with wine glasses and bottles of scotch! It was very good to see everyone again, and to catch up on how everyone is faring through this crisis.  The video meeting went fairly smoothly, and it's given us the confidence to roll it out to the whole club this week.

How do we stay connected in times like these? With our regular Wednesday night meetings suspended, we quickly came up with a way to keep members connected and engaged. The concept of the email bulletin was to mimic how we normally run our meetings, starting with a Toast to Rotary International and the People of Australia!

This year, the Rotary Club of Templestowe is pleased to be adding a new local community organisation, REAL Inc as a beneficiary of our fundraising and support activities. Based in Manningham, REAL brings together post-school aged men and women with an intellectual and/or physical disability and their families with the aim of providing a regular, on-going, cohesive support group.  The organisation also advocates at all levels of government for increased awareness and organisational change to enable inclusive participation in recreational services, housing, and employment.
