Started in February 2011, Before I Die Wall is a global art project to share your personal aspirations in a public space. The concept, started by Candy Chang began on an abandoned house in New Orleans as she lost someone she loved.
These walls are a global project and “provide an intimate portrait of the dreams within our community and a chance to ponder life’s ultimate question with the people around us” Before I Die – Jenny Downham, 2007.
The Rotary Club of Templestowe has installed two Before I Die (BID) walls, one inside Bulleen Plaza shopping centre and the other at Jacksons Court in Doncaster East outside the Three Monkeys Cafe.
These walls are a community service from the Rotary Club of Templestowe and are sponsored by Manningham City Council.
