Our speakers  are Thorold Merrett and Ken Mitchell

The two speakers will tell the story as to why 1958 was the most significant premiership in AFL history.

Ken Mitchell is a football tragic who was a boundary umpire for 13 years and then director of the Melbourne Football club in the 1980’s.

The other speaker  Thorold Merritt was a Collingwood Champion in the 1950 and 1960’s playing 180 games won two Copeland trophies 3 finishes in the top 10 in the Brownlow Medal
