You don’t have to travel to take part in Rotary’s World Polio Day event on 24 October 2018. You can watch a live stream of the proceedings on your computer or smartphone starting at 18:30 Philadelphia time (UTC-4). The experiences in the live stream include:
- The back story on Rotary’s newest virtual reality film called Two Drops of Patience which traces the story of immunisation through the most remote parts of Uganda.
- In Sydney a father/son team inspire a team to travel the rail network, raise over $200k in pledges and pass through almost 200 rail stations, telling the polio immunisation story.
- In Egypt, a motorcade, a road race and a blood drive and thousands at a charity concert.
- The Welsh turned the Menai Strait purple (the polio eradication colour) – tune in to find out how.
